Christina StimsonProject Manager
Christina Stimson is an Information Management professional with over 10 years’ experience in the Enterprise Information Management industry. Prior to becoming a core IM professional, Christina worked in various accounting, legal, information technology, and supervisory positions. Christina has developed a strong skill set as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and IM project strategist. Through the evaluation of requirements, and ensuring onsite quality through strong project management, Christina has completed several successful Enterprise Content Management (ECM) projects. These projects have included the design, configuration and implementation support for Open Text’s Livelink and Content Server 10 products and for SharePoint (MOSS 2010 platform inclusive). ECM projects have been conducted for Government of Alberta clients including Alberta Health & Wellness, Alberta Children’s Services, Alberta Employment and Immigration (now Alberta Human Services) and Alberta Justice and Attorney General.
Through administering a number of client contracts and projects, Christina has developed a strong skill set as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and practice leader in a number of areas of EIM specialty. Through the evaluation of requirements, and ensuring onsite quality through strong supervision, Christina has been involved in several special projects, business units, and project lifecycles. Her current role as a partner at ERIS Solutions Inc. requires her to be effective in her communications with the client, team members, system users, programming professionals, and project leaders to ensure the best possible product and solutions are delivered using the PMI project management framework and other efficient and effective IT and SDLC methodologies.
Christina’s current project roles require her to ensure the best possible IM/RM product and solutions are delivered using various methodologies, including the PMI project management framework, the ISO 15489 Records Management standard and the MoReq2 specification. Most recently Christina has been pursuing a Certificate in e-Records and Information Management and has utilized her Paralegal background to become entrenched in Records Management compliance and standards, as applicable to ECM software implementations. Christina has a Legal Assistant Diploma, a Microcomputer Specialist Certificate and a Project Management certificate.
Christina has attended Grant MacEwan College and completed a Legal Assistant Diploma Program as well as a Microcomputer Specialist Certificate and Project Management Certificate Programs. She has also completed study at NAIT within the E-records and Information Management program. In addition, Christina completed courses at Grant MacEwan College in Principles of Management, General Accounting and courses towards a Bachelor of Arts.
